DAS Cable Connections
For a DAS configuration, connect Port A and Port B to their corresponding
ports at the host, as shown in Figure 14.

Optical Bypass Connector
The FDDI uplink card provides a standard optical bypass connector for
installation of an optical bypass relay, if you choose to use one. See Figure 15.

The optical bypass connector must be a DIN connector. For additional
information about installing or using an optical bypass connector, refer to the
instructions provided by your optical bypass relay manufacturer.
