roaming is active, and extra charges may apply when
making or receiving a call.
Note: Some features may be unavailable while roaming. Roaming also
consumes additional power from the battery requiring more frequent
charges.
How Roaming Works
Roam Option sets roaming preferences if you move in and
out of your home network. The following roaming
options are available:
Home only - Your phone is available for normal operation
only in the designated coverage area.
Automatic-A - The preferred roaming list is used to
acquire service. If no preferred systems are found, any
digital "A" system is acquired.
Automatic-B - The preferred roaming list is used to
acquire service. If no preferred systems are found, any
digital "B" system is acquired.
Roaming Options
To change your Roaming option, follow these steps:
1. In standby mode, press the center select key ( )
Menu, then press (Settings), (Network),
(Roam Option).
2. Use the navigation key to highlight your roam option
preference, then press . Your settings are saved.
