4. To select a number other than
the marked Contacts entry’s
default number, select the
Contacts entry. The entry’s
information appears in the
display.
• Select the radio button for the
number you wish to dial.
5. Press the Add soft key.
6. The selected Contact’s
number appears in the Dialer
screen.
7. To call the number, press the
Voice Call soft key or press

Making a Call — Speed Dialing
Speed Dialing lets you quickly and easily dial any contact in your
Contacts list by using that contact’s Favorites number in the list.
You can assign and change Favorites (speed dial) numbers for
your contacts. (For more information, refer to “Assigning a Speed
Dial Number” on page 44.)
One-Touch Dialing
Speed Dial numbers 002 through 009 are special One-Touch
dialing numbers. You can call the phone numbers stored in your
phone’s Contacts list and assigned Speed Dial numbers 002
through 009 by pressing and holding a single key.
Example: For Speed Dial number 003, press the Dialer soft key, then press
and hold until the name and number appear in the display
and the number is dialed.
Two-Touch Dialing
Memory locations 010 through 030 are special Two-Touch
dialing locations.
Example: For Speed Dial number 013, press the Dialer soft key, then briefly
press , then press and hold until the name and number
appear in the display and the number is dialed.
Pause Dialing From a Contacts Entry
• If you speed dial a contact that contains hard Waits, wait for the
appropriate prompt(s) from the number you are calling (credit card
number, bank account number, and so on) and press
to continue
your dialing sequence.
• If you speed dial a contact that contains 2-Sec Pause(s) simply wait for
the pauses to pass and the dialing to complete.
