3.24 Working with E-mail messages
Overview
With Samsung SmarThru, you can send, receive and easily organise your
work with E-mail messages. The system provides you with convenient
tools that let you sort and find messages using a number of criteria. This
chapter will provide you with all necessary information to work with
messages.
Notes:
• To manage your E-mail messages with Samsung SmarThru, you must configure
your internet connection properly when you install the Samsung SmarThru
software. If you skipped the internet connection setup at that time, you can
configure through the
Tools menu in the Samsung DocuThru windows at any
time. Take the following steps:
1. Open the Samsung SmarThru window, and select DocuThru .
2. In the Samsung DocuThru window, select Configuration from the
Tools menu. You can quickly access the Configuration command by
right-clicking on the SmarThru engine icon in the right corner of the
taskbar, then selecting
Configuration from the pop-up menu.
3. Select Internet Gate and specify the internet gate option.
• You must use the internal computer modem or an external modem for sending or
receiving E-mail. You can connect to the Internet using an Internet Service
Provider (ISP) or through one of several online services, such as the Microsoft
Network or America Online.
