When the Power On/Off option is set to on, the phone sounds an alert
when:

When the handset is powered on or off.
♦
The phone experiences a dropped or failed call.
♦
The phone enters or leaves a service area.
To set the sound alert On or Off:
1.
Press
to display the menu.
2.
Press
for Sounds.
3.
Press
for the Power On/Off display screen.
4.
Scroll between Sound On/Off. When the desired setting is displayed,
press
to save.
5.
To cancel, press
to return to the previous menu.
