Modify text submenu

The first line shows which camera’s text identification is in the process of being
modified. The next line shows the text inserted so far. The flashing # cursor
shows the insertion point for other characters, if desired.

The text insertion method is that commonly used for mobile phones. Pressing
the

!

key will select the letter ‘A’; if

!

is pressed again within one second

the letter ‘B’ will be selected, and pressing

!

again will select ‘C’. After one

second’s wait the choice will be accepted and the # cursor will move forward by
one position.

can be used to select the character sets: “upper case”, “lower

case”, “numeric/symbols”.
Other characters are selected in the same way: for example ‘S’ is obtained by
pressing the

&

key 4 times. The number ‘9’ is obtained by selecting the

“numeric/symbols” set and pressing

"

twice.

deletes the last character inserted and

adds a space to the inserted

text.
When insertion has been completed, press

to return to the previous menu.

Alarms submenu

The matrix is provided with an alarm contact for each input. For further details
see section 4.2 Alarms.
The alarm contact number being modified is shown on the first line; change the
number by pressing

to select the alarm type (normally open, normally closed, not used).

to enter the submenu for defining Reset. Press

enable/disable relay closure and for buzzer enabling when the alarm is active.

Alarm recognition submenu

It is possible for each alarm to be recognised by each output video (or not). If
an alarm is not recognised the functioning of an output will be unchanged by
alarm activation, even if keyboard DCJ, DCK or DCT (when connected) will
display a warning message for the abnormal situation.
