4.6 Telemetry protocol
4.6.1 Configuring the dome
Set up the dome for using the protocol (if more than one protocol is expected to be used) and set the desired
baud rate and identity number.
4.6.2 Configuring the switcher/matrix
4.6.2.1 Configuring t he Aux line
In menu 2.7 Configuration / Coax Transmission – Aux Line select the protocol and the baudrate corresponding
to that of the dome.
4.6.2.2 Communicati on with the keyboard
The protocol for communication with the keyboard should be MACRO and it is set by operating the dipswitch
inside the switcher/matrix. Set the baudrate as high as possible in relation to the distance and the conditions of
the connection.
4.6.3 Configuring the keyboard
4.6.3.1 Video Protoc ol
Set the video protocol (Communications / Video menu) as Macro and set the baudrate corresponding to that of
the switcher/matrix.
4.6.3.2 Telemetry Pro tocol
Set the telemetry protocol of line A (B) in the Communications /Telemetry line A (B) menu and the connector as
Video.
Make sure that in the Telemetry lines menu the type receivers are assigned to the appropriate telemetry line.
