5. Highlight Hybrid and press Enter.
A menu will be displayed (as shown in Figure 1- 7) listing available Hybrid modes. Select your
preferred mode and press Enter.

Note: The default Hybrid mode is Safe mode.
• Safe mode creates a virtual disk that is optimized for fault tolerance. It is safe to use with hard
drives that contain existing data.
• Capacity mode creates a virtual disk that is optimized for read and write performance.
