Plug power cord into outlet. Turn power switch to “on.” Use the height adjustment knob to set brush roll to desired
height.

To release the vacuum cleaner from the upright position, press
the handle release pedal.
On carpeted floors, the adjustment wheel moves downward
out of the nozzle base so that the brush roll is raised.

NOTE:
When the vacuum cleaner is switched
on and the upper structure is in the
upright position, the brush roll will
automatically disengage.

Your vacuum cleaner is equipped with an on-board LED
diagnostic system. This system of LED lights is designed to
help you understand the status of your vacuum cleaner during
usage - and to help you diagnose regular service needs or
problems as they arise.
Different combinations of LED lights communicate different
messages. To help you understand the meaning of each of
these LED light combinations, your vacuum cleaner has a
diagnostic guide located inside the bag door on the upper
structure. Use this LED diagnostic guide to determine the
meaning of each LED light combination.
LEGEND
= not lit
= solid red light
= blinking red light
= solid green light
= blinking green light
= not lit
= solid red light
= blinking red light
