NOTE: After the holes have been drilled, If you
prefer the mounting brackets over the carpet,
lay the carpet back in place and use a sharp
prick punch to locate the mounting holes in the
floor pan. With a sharp utility knife cut holes in
the carpet at the bolt locations.
Step 9. Sandwich the wire trough body seam
between the upper tab of the mounting bracket
and reinforcement plate Part # 7090.
Secure using two 3/8” x 1 ¼” bolts, flat wash-
ers and Nylok nuts (See Fig 18).
Step 0. Secure a second reinforcement
plate Part # 70908 to the main hoop
mounting bracket with two 3/8” x 1 ¼” bolts,
flat washers and Nylok nuts (See Fig 19).
Step . Repeat steps 17 through 20 for
installation of the passenger side main hoop
mounting bracket Part # 90900.
IMPORTANT:
Use Anti-Seize on all fasteners
that are threaded into stainless clamps or
brackets.
Step . Insert both ends of the main hoop
Part # 7090 into the main hoop mounting
brackets (See Fig 20). Slip four 3/8” x 1” socket
head cap screws and lock washers through the
hoop clamps and fasten to the main hoop
mounting brackets. Do not tighten yet.
