1.4 PURPOSE OF EQUIPMENT
The CNVD-T is a handheld or weapon-mounted thermal
imaging device that allows for observation, target
identification, and passive target acquisition during the day or
in adverse conditions such as light rain, light snow, dry
smoke, and low light to total darkness.
