5. Remove the brace and de-burr the mounting holes.
6. Re-position the brace and insert the provided 5/16” x ¾” bolts up through the bottom of the strut tower then thread a stainless
washer and acorn nut onto each bolt. Using two ½” wrenches, tighten all (8) bolts. See Image 5 and 6 above.
7. Move to the forward tower mounts and using the BMR strut tower brace as a guide, drill through the strut towers as shown in
Image 7 below.
8. Insert the provided 5/16” x ¾” bolts from inside the strut tower then thread a stainless washer and acorn nut onto each bolt as
shown in Image 8 above.
9. Lower vehicle, allowing the struts to return to their
original position. It may require the help of another
person to guide the strut mount up into the strut tower
while the car is being lowered.
10. Place (1) of the provided ½” flat washers onto the stud
of each strut.
11. Install the provided billet strut retainer and the provided
14mm jam-nut.
12. To prevent the billet strut tower retainer from turning
when tightening the strut shaft nut, wrap a ½” deep
socket with tape and hold it on one of the mounting nuts
while tightening the strut retainer nut. Tighten the main
strut nut to 52 ft/lbs. See Image 9.
