NOTE:
•

Before upgrading make sure all Hyper-V GUI and PowerShell windows are closed and
there is no Hyper-V process running.

•

Reboot is required, if the user selects Do not close application option.

Click Finish after the upgrade is complete. To review the Windows Installer log, select the
option before clicking Finish.

NOTE:

The upgrade steps for the Recovery Manager backup server also apply to the Remote

Copy backup server(s), if applicable to your setup.

Verifying the Upgrade

The following method helps you verify the upgrade.
1.

Verify if Recovery Manager for Hyper-V service is currently running and user is able to launch
the web GUI.

Check if you can see the previously created virtual copies/schedules in the GUI.
