3.1 Overview
This chapter describes how to install the 3PAR Policy Advisor script on a host computer with
access to an InServ Storage Server. Instructions for removing the Policy Advisor are also
provided. The Policy Advisor script runs on the same host computer operating system running
the 3PAR InForm Command Line Interface (CLI). Linux, Solaris, and Windows operating systems
are supported. For a complete list of supported operating systems, see the 3PAR InForm OS CLI
Administrator’s Manual.
