1.
Download and install WAIK version 3.0 for Windows 7 from the Microsoft Download Center.
2.
To make DISM tool available for the application server, perform one of the following:
•
Update the hpmmsvc.conf file (
set.Path=<>;
, and then restart
server migration services.
•
Add the windows PATH environmental variable with the-
parameter.
3.
Restart the server migration service.
4.
To verify and view that DISM version 6.1 is installed, go to the Upload Drivers tab of the server
migration wizard.
NOTE:
To migrate windows 2012 R2 to an application server, DISM 6.3 must be available.
To enable DISM 6.3:
1.
Download and install Assessment and Deployment Kit (ADK) from the Microsoft Download
Center.
2.
In the hpmmscv.conf file add a new entry under # Java Additional Parameter in the following
format:
wrapper.java.additional.6=-DdismDir=" directory>.. /Assessment and Deployment Kit/Deployment Tools/amd64/DISM NOTE: Increment the additional integer parameter by 1 from the last available value. The directory path must be in quotes, if there are spaces in the path. 3. Restart the server migration service. 4.
