1 = EIO slot 1: The product has detected an error with the EIO accessory.
2 = EIO slot 2: The product has detected an error with the EIO accessory.
6 = EIO slot 1: The EIO accessory has detected an error. The EIO accessory might be
defective.
7 = EIO slot 2: The EIO accessory has detected an error. The EIO accessory might be
defective.
Turn the product off, and then turn the product on.

SYSTEM ERROR The scanner reports this error when it detects a problem with the front
side optical system.
MECHANICAL ERROR The scanner reports this error when it detects a general mechanical
problem.
