Entering Text

You may need to enter text into the machine, when you set the date and time.
Entering numbers and letters
C
Press a, b, d or c to select the number or letter you want, and press the OK button on the
machine’s control panel. Repeat for each character until the number or name is complete. Then
press a, b, d or c to select
on the LCD, and then press the OK button on the control panel
once again.
Inserting spaces
C
To enter a space in a Name, use a, b, d or c to highlight , and then press OK.
NOTE
The characters that are available may differ depending on your country.
Inserting symbols
C
Press a, b, d or c to select , and press OK to cycle between upper case, lower case and
special characters. Press a, b, d or c to select the symbol you want to choose, and press OK.
If you want to return to the numbers and letters display, press a, b, d or c to select , and press
OK.
Making corrections
C
If you entered an incorrect number or letter and want to change it, press a, b, d or c to select
or .
Press OK several times to move the cursor under the incorrect character. Then press a, b, d or c
to select
, and press OK. Re-enter the correct letter.
