Minimum System Requirements
The following are minimum requirements for computers running the Milestone XProtect Central
Client:
• CPU: 2.4 GHz.
• RAM: 1 GB (2 GB recommended on Microsoft ® Windows ® Vista ® ).
• Network: Ethernet (100 Mbit recommended).
• Graphics Adapter: AGP or PCI-Express, 1024Ч768 (1280Ч1024 recommended), 16-bit
colors.
• Hard disk space: Minimum 50 MB free.
• Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP Professional (32 bit or 64 bit*), Windows
Server 2003 (32 bit or 64 bit*), Windows Server 2008 R1/R2 (32 bit or 64 bit*), Windows
Vista Business (32 bit or 64 bit*), Windows Vista Enterprise (32 bit or 64 bit*) and
Windows Vista Ultimate (32 bit or 64 bit*), Windows 7 Professional (32 bit or 64 bit*),
Windows 7 Enterprise (32 bit or 64 bit*) and Windows 7 Ultimate (32 bit or 64 bit*).
* Running as a 32 bit application.
• .NET 3.5 Framework SP1 and DirectX 9.0, downloadable from http://www.microsoft.
com/downloads/, must be installed on computers running the Central Client.
