Installation procedures
unit Inspection
Inspect your unit very carefully before installing. Make
sure there are no punctures in the tank.
unit location
Once the unit has been inspected and cleared of any
transportation damage, select a location for installation
which is readily accessible to the existing discharge and
vent lines; as well as access to a 120 V AC grounded
3-prong receptacle.
Pump must be plugged into an
outlet receptacle that includes a
Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI). In the event of
current leakage, a GFCI will trip, thus reducing the risk of
serious injury or death from electrical shock.
unit Installation
Inspect your system carefully before
installation; make sure there are no punctures in the tank.
During assembly, make sure no
screws, nails or other sharp objects puncture the tank.
1. If a built in installation is to be done, locate the
system in an area that will allow access to the pump
and switch after installation.
2. Determine the orientation of the toilet on the tank,
after determining the orientation install the brass
closet bolts provided (Figures 1 and 2).
