Registration
This section has information about how
the meter is read, whether electronically
or manually.
Note: Compound meters might have two
registration records associated with one
meter. Each record will have its own
Service # and be related to a separate
register.

This is a required entry that identifies individual meter
readings that share the same Account ID. If not specified,
the number 1 is assumed. Here are the cases this applies
to:
Several meters are read at one address and the
same Account ID is used.
One Account ID is used to bill several meters in a
multiple-dwelling unit.
A compound meter is present, and two readings
are associated with one module.
