9. MAINTENANCE
9.1. GENERAL
INFORMATION
The instrument You purchased is a precision instrument. During use and storage, carefully
observe the recommendations listed in this manual in order to prevent possible damage or
dangers during use.
Do not use the instrument in environments with high humidity levels or at high
temperatures. Do not directly expose to sunlight.
Always turn off the instrument after use. If the instrument is not to be used for a long time,
remove the battery to prevent any leaks of liquids which could damage the instrument’s
internal circuits.
9.2.
REPLACING THE BATTERIES
When the LCD display shows the symbol
”
” and the message “BATTERY LOW”, it is
necessary to replace the internal batteries

1. Turn off the instrument.
2. Open the battery compartment.
3. Removed the old batteries (see Fig. 55)
4. Insert new batteries of the same type (see § 10.5), respecting the indicated polarities.
5. Close the battery compartment.
6. Do not scatter old batteries in the environment. Use the appropriate containers for
disposal.
9.3.
CLEANING THE INSTRUMENT
To clean the instrument, use a soft dry cloth. Never use humid cloths, solvents, water, etc.
9.4.
END OF LIFE
WARNING: the symbol reported on the instrument indicates that the appliance,
its accessories and the battery must be disposed of separately and treated
correctly.
