message (flashing) will be displayed in the lower line. This message shows as
"err...." where "..." is a three digit number. This number gives information about
the nature of the malfunction detected:
001 = No Humidity frequency = Defect of Humidity sensor.
002 = No reference frequency = Mostly caused by cable break.
004 = Temperature < -50,5 °C = Short circuited Pt-1000
005 = 001 and 004 are both detected.
006 = 002 and 004 are both detected.
008 = Temperature > +201 °C = Break of sensor line Pt-1000
009 = 008 and 001 are both detected.
010 = 008 and 002 are both detected.
016 = Value is below lower limit of output range "Humidity".
020 = 016 and 004 are both detected.
024 = 016 and 008 are both detected.
032 = Value is above upper limit of output range "Humidity".
036 = 032 and 004 are both detected.
040 = 032 and 008 are both detected.
064 = Value is below lower limit of range "Temperature".
065 = 064 and 001 are both detected.
066 = 064 und 002 are both detected.
080 = 064 und 016 are both detected.
096 = 064 und 032 are both detected.
128 = Value is above upper limit of range "Temperature".
129 = 128 und 001 are both detected.
130 = 128 und 002 are both detected.
144 = 128 und 016 are both detected.
160 = 128 und 032 are both detected
256 = Value exeeds limit of g/kg range (= 224,8 g/kg).
512 = Value has changed more than 3%RH compared
with last reading (normal after switching on).
Error numbers of 257 or more are found, if error 256 is detected together with
any other error mentioned above. Subtraction of 256 will result in the additional
error number!
11. Practical Instructions and Limits
Besides the temperature limits specified for all our transmitters, probe heads
and sensors, you should observe the following rules when using our
instruments.
