Upgrading from Avigilon Control Center 4
If you are upgrading to Avigilon Control Center 5 and the latest version of the Avigilon
C•Cure integration software, there are a few steps that need to be performed before you
can use the integration again.
1.
The Avigilon Control Center uses a new default port number (38880) for server
communication. After you install the Avigilon Control Center 5 software, you
must update the port number used by either the Avigilon Control Center
software or the C•Cure software.
o
To change the default port number for the Avigilon Control Center
software, change the server network settings in the Avigilon Control
Center Admin Tool. For more information, see the Avigilon Control
Center Software User Guide.
o
To change the port number used by the C•Cure software to
communicate with the Avigilon Control Center software, first disable the
Avigilon Video Server connection then update the communication port
number.
a. In the C•Cure Administration Workstation, select the Video tab and
open the Video Server Editor window for the Avigilon server.
