option allows the terminal operator to perform the following functions:

. This function used to enable/disable the envelope depository unit.
Press <1> on the keypad to either enable (check) or disable (uncheck). When enabled, menu option
<2> - ‘Max Number of Consecutive Envelope Dispenses’ will automatically be enabled.

. This function allows user to set the maximum
number of times a customer can request an envelope. The number can be set from zero (‘0’ - infinite) to
nine (9). This is to prevent individuals from mishievously dispensing all the envelopes.
Note: On newer releases of software, this number will be set to default three (3).
Note
If the number of envelope dispenses is set at zero (0),
the number of times a customer can request is infinite.
If you want to prevent mishievously dispenses, set
this number from one (1) to nine (9)!

When a customer presses the number <3> key on the Main keypad, only one (1) envelope is dispensed.
They can attempt this up to nine (9) times depending on the number entered in this field. The <3> key is only
active during the “Welcome” screen, not during a transaction.
