Rear wheel steering provides a number of functions which increase field seeding
consistencies. Below it describes all the mechanical aspects of the steering
components.

Some benefits of rear wheel steering are:
•
Minimizing skewing on side hills.
•
Maintaining row spacing when cornering
The Steering sensor arm is located on the second rank and is also pressured down
to minimize skipping. The sensor arm triggers electrically left of right through either
switch on the rear axle. When electrified, the rear axle cylinder will react to crab a
hill or to maintain row spacing. A transport pin is used when transporting long
distances and removed for field operation.
