4.9.3 Twin Wing

Most Twin Wing openers are on 12” spacing. The customer would achieve 9”
spacing due to the 3” seed separation ( Fig 31 B&C). With Single Side Band
configuration,10” spacing is the narrowest spacing that Seed Hawk offers.
What Twin Wing achieves is 2 rows of seed ¾” above and 11/2” to both sides of
the fertilizer band.
The 1.5” separation to the side of the fertilizer band is identical separation as the
Single Side Band seed opener.
Contact your local dealer for instructions on how to convert your Single Side Band
opener to accommodate the Twin Wing seed knife.
