Electrical Connections
CM II – 240 volt models should be connected to fan
circuit.
CM III – 240volt models should be connected to fan
circuit. The CM III can be connected to the AAIII,
Farm Hand Alarm, or other N.O. or N.C. alarm
systems using the Com., N.O., & N.C. wires from the
auxiliary switch. This allows the alarm to activate in
the event that the arm trips.
NOTE
Ensure that the CM II / CM III is connected to the
same circuit and/or phase as the PowerTrak
and/or primary source of ventilation.
Operating Instructions
With power on, raise the trip arm and insert
Expansion Finger into the heater hole making
certain that the finger moves freely. Wait for one
minute and place cable loop in the Curt-O-Matic load
slot.
Trouble Shooting
If the trip arm releases too soon, allow the finger to
completely cool then expand expansion finger to
where it will just enter heater hole freely at room
temperature. If the trip releases too late, compress
expansion finger slightly.
Do not insert the adjustable finger into the Curt-O-
Matic when any resistance to insertion is felt. When
the finger is completely cool, the trip arm must be
allowed to fall freely without resistance.
CAUTION
To allow proper finger adjustment and prevent a
burn hazard, ensure that the Expansion Finger is
completely cool before adjustment is attempted.
