Dispose of the old filter in accordance with local environmental
regulations.

Thoroughly clean the shaped element (3) and sealing surface
(4).

Lightly oil the sealing lip (5) of the new oil filter.

Screw in the oil filter and tighten it by hand.

Make sure that the guard ring (6) seats fully on the shaped ele-
ment (3). The guard ring prevents dirt from accumulating be-
tween the oil filter and shaped element.
