HOW IT WORKS
Laptop Charging Carts are designed to store, charge, and transport your laptops safely and efficiently. The
deluxe carts provide network cables from the base of the cart to each shelf for wake-on LAN connectivity.
If you have any questions about how your cart works, please contact Anthro at 800.325.3841
and we’ll be happy to help you!
Here are a few things to know about your cart.
Cable Management
Your NCC cart comes with several cable management features. To protect the cart’s pow-
er cord, cable wraps are recessed into the back of the cart under the power area. Cable
clips are provided to route the power inlet cord from the power adapter on the side of the
laptop. And cable ties are provided to secure each A/C adapter to its shelf.
On deluxe carts, network cables are routed from the base of the cart to the front of each
shelf. To order replacements, contact Anthro at 800.325.3841.
Casters
Most NCC carts ship with four 5” casters, two directional-lock (green tab) and two total-
lock (grey tab). Directional-lock casters can be locked so they don’t swivel. This makes
the cart steer like the best grocery cart you ever had. If you need more maneuverability,
release the green tabs so that all four casters swivel. To brake the cart, press the grey tab
on the total-lock casters.
Some NCC carts ship with four 8” casters, two locking, swivel casters and two non-lock-
ing, rigid casters. Locks are on the side of the 8” locking casters.
Doors and Locks
The front doors on your NCC cart feature a two-point locking system to
protect your laptops. To open a front door, lift the bottom of the handle and rotate it
clockwise. To open a back door, rotate the handle clockwise.
For added security, each front door features hasps to hold your own padlock (maximum
shackle dia 7mm; minimum shackle height 51mm). When installed, your padlock restricts
access to the handle so the cart.
Your cart shipped out with 2 keys. To order replacements, contact Anthro at
800.325.3841.
To protect the cart’s contents and structural integrety, close and latch cart doors before
moving the cart.
Fan
Your NCC cart comes with a fan to cool the enclosure. The fan features a thermister
control so the fan speed increases as the enclosure warms.
