ON HAND ™ Pre-hung Door Assembly Installation

Proper frame shimming and fastening are critical to the
long term trouble free operation of your unit.
NOTE
Recheck the door unit for plumb and square. Check
for an even margin (gap) between the door and jamb.
Check operation of the door. Make any necessary
adjustment then nail securely in place through the
jamb and shims approximately every 12" using #10
finishing nails.
Starting at the top, remove the center screw from
each hinge. Drive the long screws through the hinge
holes and into the stud until snug.
Score the shims using a utility knife and snap off the
excess.
Using the nail set, set all nails and fill all nail holes.
Your door is now ready for finishing prior to installing
the ON HAND
™ In-Door Storage and Communication
System.

Setting and Fastening the Complete Door Jamb Unit
Do not overtighten the screws.
