Compatible D EFAULT Configures the Serial-ATA controller to be in compatible
mode. In this mode, a SATA channel will replace one of
the IDE channels.
Î Serial-ATA Controller 1 [Enhanced]
Use the Serial-ATA Controller 1 option to configure the Serial-ATA controller mode when
the SATA mode is set to IDE Mode.

Disabled Disables Serial-ATA controller.
Î
Enhanced D EFAULT Configures the Serial-ATA controller to be in enhanced
mode. In this mode, IDE channels and SATA channels
are separated. Some legacy OS do not support this
mode.

Use the Intel TXT (LT) Configuration menu (BIOS Menu 9) to configure Intel Trusted
Execution Technology support.
