Waveform Path
This variable allows the user to specify the path on the oscilloscope to save/recall waveforms. When not in Demo
Mode and Save acquired waveforms is enabled, the waveforms will be saved in this folder. When set to Demo
Mode or Use stored trace for pixel clock measure, saved waveforms should be available in this folder. The default
value for this variable is D:\Waveforms\MIPIDPHY.
Use Stored Waveforms
This variable allows the user to run the selected tests on previously saved waveforms. The default value is No.
Recall Waveform File Index
This variable allows the user to specify the file index to use when running saved waveforms. Sometimes multiple
waveforms will be stored in the same directory and they will have 00000, 00001, 00002, etc. appended to the end
of their filenames. The default value for this variable is 00000.
Define format used to set trace names
This variable allows the user to specify the Saved/Recall waveform name format. The choices are:
1) Lecroy: compose waveforms name automatically from signal names.
2) Dialog: pops-up dialogs to enter custom waveform names
3) Custom: Allows the user to set the name of the waveform in the XX HS Filename and XX LP Filename
variables.
The default value is Lecroy.
Clock Period Per Screen Division
This variable is used to determine the oscilloscope timebase and sampling rate that will be set to acquire the
given number of clock cycle per display horizontal division at a given DUT Speed Grade in Mbps and for a Max
Number Of Samples Per Clock Period. The default is 3341 clock periods (this gives a 10us/div timebase
at 667 MT/s and 3.3MS max for 100 samples per period).
Timebase = [Clock Period Per Screen Division] /
([DUT Speed Grade in MT/s] / 2 * 1e6)
Maximum Samples = [Max. Number Of Samples Per Clock Period]
* [Clock Period Per Screen Division] * 10
Number of cycles for Clock tests
This variable is used to determine the number of clock cycles that will be acquired for the clock tests. See Clock
Period Per Screen Division for more explanation. The default for this variable is 200.
Max Number of Samples Per Clock Period
This variable is used to determine what the oscilloscope timebase and sampling rate will be set to acquire the
given number of point per clock period. See Clock Period Per Screen Division for more explanation.
Choose between 10;20;50;100;200;500 or 1000. The default for this variable is 100.
