Options while on calls
To transfer an outside call from the telephone base:
1. During the call, press
MENU/
�ELECT
.
2. Press
MENU
/�ELECT to choose >Transfer.
If your have one handset, the outside call is put on
hold and the telephone base shows
Transferring call... The handset rings and shows
Transfer from BA�E 0 (
BA�E represents the
base name) .
If you have more than one handset, the telephone base
shows
TRAN�FER TO: Use the dialing keys to eenter a
specific handset number ( 1-9 for handsets 1-9,
TONE and 0 for handset 10, TONE and 1 for
handset 11
, TONE and 2 for handset 12, or
TONE and # for all handsets), or press q
CID
or
p
DIR
to scroll to the desired handset and press
MENU
/�ELECT.
The outside call is put on hold and the telephone base shows
Transferring call... or Transferring call to all...
The other handset(s) rings
and shows Transfer from BA�E 0 ( BA�E represents the base name).
3. To answer the call on the destination handset, press , press �HONE/
FLA�H
or
/��EA�ER ��EA�ER . The telephone base shows Call transferred and goes to
idle mode.
NOTES:
To cancel the transfer and return to the external call before the blind transfer call is
answered, press
OFF
/CANCEL, �HONE/
FLA�H
or /��EA�ER ��EA�ER on your handset, or
CANCEL or /��EA�ER ��EA�ER on your telephone base.
If the other device does not answer the transfer within 30 seconds, the transfer ends and the
initiating device rings while showing No response to transfer. If it does not pick up within 30
seconds, the device returns to idle mode and the outside call ends.
