take readings:
1.
Rinse the probe with deionized or distilled water before use
to r
emove any
impurities adhering to the pr
obe body
.
If the pH electr
ode has dehydrated, soak
it for 30 minutes in OAKT
ON electr
ode
storage solution or a 2M–4M KCl solution.

Press ON to switch on meter

Dip the probe into the sample.
When dipping the pr
obe into the sample,
the sensor or the glass bulb of the electr
ode
must be completely immersed into the sample. Stir the pr
obe gently in the sample
to cr
eate a homogenous sample.

Allow time for the reading to stabilize. Note the r
eading on the display
.
