Transmitter Steering Selection
Most radio systems will be used strictly with comparators or voters for
enhancement of talk-in from mobiles and portables. A few systems, however,
include Transmitter Steering to enhance the talk-out coverage back to the
portables and mobiles. These systems would also typically have TIB modules to
monitor and control the transmitter steering unit.
When Transmitter Steering is used, a special configuration file is required to add a
“TX” indication to the standard “Vote”, “Rx”, “Dis”, and “Fail” indications.
If your system does not have Transmitter Steering, answer “No” to this question.
If you do have Transmitter Steering, answer “Yes”.
3.9 Copying
Files
After you make the Transmitter Steering selection, the Setup program will start
copying files from the CD-ROM to the disk and folder you have selected. A
progress screen is shown during the File Copy operation.
