The control valve is driven by compressed air via the TopControl .
➔
Remove the protective caps from the ports.
➔
Connect the air supply to port 1
The supply pressure required for complete opening or closing of the valve may lie between the minimum
values of 3 to 6 bar, depending on the drive unit. The permissible maximum value for the control pressure
is 7 bar. The value for the supply pressure is given as P
pilot
on the rating plate of the respective valve.
➔
Mount the exhaust air pipe or noise reducer on port 3
Control medium:
instrument air, class 3 according to DIN ISO 8573-1
