Installation
CAuTIoN!
danger when using volatile media!
If volatile media such as hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) or sodium
hypochlorite (NaCIO) are used, there is a serious risk of injury. The
media may evaporate causing a dangerous pressure increase in
the empty space between the ball and the housing.

installation in the pipeline
7.4.1.
procedure:
Check that the pipes which are to be connected to the valve are on
→
one level. This will prevent mechanical tension on the screw joint.
Unscrew the union nuts (
→
Fig. 2: /13) and push them onto the
pipes.
Bond, weld or screw the connecting parts (
→
Fig. 2: /12) of the plastic
ball valve onto the pipe ends.
Also follow the detailed instructions in chapter
7.2.Installation Process.
Place the plastic ball valve between the two connecting parts and
→
tighten the union nuts by hand.
Do not use a tool to tighten the union nuts as their surfaces could
→
be damaged.
If required, attach the pipeline with brackets or use the designated
→
bracket on the plastic ball valve.
Install the appropriate Dual Block locking device for the union nuts
→
Fig. 2: /16) on the housing.
