4.3.3 Response Messages
The device sends a Response Message in response to
a valid query. All queries return a single Response
Message Unit.
4.4 Instrument Identification
The *IDN? common query is used to read the
instrument's identification string. The string returned is as
follows:
BK, MODEL 4040B,0,V0.1
The “V0.1” reflects the firmware version number
and will change accordingly.
4.5 Instrument Reset
The *RST common command effects an instrument
reset to the factory default power up state.
