7.9 Maxitrol Pre-regulator Calibration

DWYER # 1212 water column (0-16") gas pressure test kit

NFPA-approved pipe sealant (i.e. Megaloc Multipurpose Thread Sealant)

Leak detector compound (soapy water)
The Maxitrol 325-3 regulator has a maximum inlet pressure of 10 PSI. Alpha Technologies
recommends all installations range between 1-2 PSI for consistent of gas fl ow.
An external water trap must be supplied outside the enclosure in accordance with local, state,
and National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA) codes. Water sent via gas lines to the regulator
system could damage the secondary demand regulator.
