Onboard LEDs

The motherboard comes with a set of LEDs that indicate the voltage conditions of CPU,

memory, northbridge and southbridge. You may adjust the voltages in BIOS. There are

also an LED for hard disk drive activity and an onboard switch for power status. For

more information about voltage adjustment, refer to 3.3 Extreme Tweaker menu.
1. CPU LED

The CPU LED has four voltage displays: CPU Voltage, CPU PLL Voltage,

and QPI/DRAM Core Voltage; you can select the voltage to display in BIOS.

Refer to the illustration below for the location of the CPU LED and the table

below for LED definition.

2. Northbridge LED

Northbridge LED has two different voltage displays. The northbridge LED

displays either the 1.11V IOH voltage or the 1.50V IOH PCIE voltage. You

can select the voltage to display in BIOS. Refer to the illustration below for

the location of the northbridge LED and the table below for LED definition.

3. Memory LED

The Memory LED has one voltage display: DRAM Voltage. Refer to the

illustration below for the location of the memory LED and the table below for

LED definition.

4. Southbridge LED

Southbridge LED has two different voltage displays. The southbridge LED

shows either the 1.11V ICH voltage or the 1.50V ICH PCIE voltage. You can

select the voltage to display in BIOS. Refer to the illustration below for the

location of the southbridge LED and the table below for LED definition.
