Getting started

Telephone base and charger installation

Install the telephone base and charger as shown below.
Make sure that the electrcal outlet s not controlled by a wall swtch.
If you subscrbe to dgtal subscrber lne (DSL) hgh-speed Internet servce

through your telephone lne, you must nstall a DSL filter between the

telephone line cord and telephone wall jack. The filter prevents noise and

caller ID problems caused by DSL nterference. Contact your DSL servce

provider for more information about DSL filters.

Use only the power adapters and batteres suppled wth ths product.

The power adapters are ntended to be correctly orented n a vertcal

or floor mount position. The prongs are not designed to hold the plug in

place f t s plugged nto a celng, under-the-table or cabnet outlet.

Wall mounting

Your telephone comes ready for tabletop use. If you prefer to mount

your telephone on the wall (optonal), t s desgned to mount on a

standard telephone wall plate.
You can mount the telephone base on

the wall by postonng the top hole at the

back of the telephone base aganst the

top mountng stud [A]. Then slde the

telephone base down on the

mountng studs [A] and [B]

untl t locks nto place.
