Telephone operation

Call log

If you subscrbe to caller ID servce, nformaton about each caller

appears after the first or second ring. If you answer a call before the caller

nformaton appears on the screen, t wll not be saved n the call log.

The call log stores up to 30 entres. Each entry has up to 24 dgts for the

phone number and 15 characters for the name. If the telephone number

has more that 15 dgts, only the last 15 dgts appear. If the name has

more than 15 characters, only the first 15 characters are shown and

saved n the call log.
You can revew, redal and copy an entry nto the drectory.
Entres appear n reverse chronologcal order.
When the call log s full, the oldest entry s deleted to make room for new

ncomng call nformaton.
XX missed calls dsplays when there are new call log entres that have

not been revewed.
Call log empty dsplays when there are no records n the call log.
Call log entres are shared by all system handsets (for

CS6114-2 only).

Any deletions made on one handset are reflected on the other handset.
Only one handset can revew the call log at a tme (for

CS6114-2 only). If

a handset tres to enter the call log whle another handset s already n t,

For call log entres wth numbers between 16 and 24 dgts, n order to vew the

entre number, you must save the entry to the drectory (see page 23).

Missed call indicator

When there are calls that have not been revewed n the

call log, the handset dsplays

XX missed calls.

Each tme you revew a call log entry marked

NEW, the

number of mssed calls decreases by one.
When you have revewed all the mssed calls, the

mssed call ndcator no longer dsplays.
If you do not want to revew the mssed calls one by

one, press and hold

OFF

/CANCEL

on the dle handset to

erase the mssed call ndcator. All the entres are then

consdered old.
