Incremental Zero
From the incremental display (INCR), press the z key next to the appropriate axis.
This sets the display to zero at the current tool position.
Presetting
Absolute
The absolute preset is based on datum. When an absolute preset is entered, the read-
out calculates the incremental distance to the preset position. In the example below,
the current position is 1.0000” and the desired position is 1.5000” as measured from
datum. The key press sequence is X

distance remaining to the preset position.
An absolute (ABS) preset
is based on Absolute Zero
