1U Rackmount System
Installing/Removing SATA Drives
1. To remove, first push the release button located beside the drive LEDs
2. Swing the colored handle fully out and use it to pull the unit straight out.
Note: There is no onboard RAID support for SATA drives.
SATA Backplane
The SATA drives plug into a backplane that provides power, drive ID and bus termi- nation. A RAID
controller can be used with the backplane to provide data security for the SATA drives. The
backplane is already preconfigured, so there are no jumpers or switches present on it.
