Camera problems
The camera has no power
Cause
What to do
Is the battery installed
correctly? Does it need to be
replaced?
Check the battery and replace it if necessary.
See “Installing the Battery” on page 17 for details.
Is the camera turned on?
The camera may have shut off automatically to save battery power. Press
the POWER button to turn on the camera.
The camera does not take a photo after you press the shutter button

Is the power switched on?

Is the Mode dial set to the
correct mode?
