Configuring Your System
Situations that require changing switch settings
include the following.

using an uninterruptible power supply
Note: The switches are set correctly at the factory for
your system configuration. If your system requires a
switch change, change only the switch setting for that
condition. Otherwise keep the switches at their factory
settings.
Table 4-7 shows the switch configurations and
functions. Set the switches per Table 4-7 and the
following steps.

To change a switch setting, use the following
procedure.
Note: Power must be completely off before setting the
switches, otherwise the settings will not be recognized.
1.
At the front of the server, press the Power switch
off.
2.
At the rear of the server, press the Main Power
switch off.
