Basic Setup Basic Setup
Before using the viewer for the fi rst time, choose a language and set the clock. Setting
the clock to the correct time and date makes it possible to use the calendar (
P 17), on/
off timer ( P 20), and alarm ( P 17).
1 Press MENU to display the main menu ( P 10).
2 Press e , f , g , or h to highlight Setup and press OK.
3 Press e or f to highlight System Setup and press OK.
4 Press e or f to highlight a and press OK to
display the options shown on the right.
5 Press e or f to highlight the desired language and
press OK, and then press BACK to return to the system
setup menu.

6 Press e or f to highlight Date/Time Setting and
press OK to display the options shown on the right.

7 Press g or h to highlight the year, month, day, hour, or minute and press e or f (or,
if you are using the controls on the viewer, MENU) to change. Press OK to return to the
system setup menu when settings are complete.
8 Press BACK to exit to the main menu.
R The current date and time can be displayed by selecting On for Clock Display in the setup
menu ( P 19).
Q The clock will be reset if the viewer is without power for an extended period.
