Overview
This appendix describes the process of configuring various
systems to communicate and print on a Xerox FreeFlow Print
Server with IPDS using TCP/IP or channel attachment.
Supported environments include:

Manager for AIX

Manager for Windows

The purpose of this appendix is to help the customer support staff
through the system configuration process, and to provide tips,
pointers, and references to more information.
Configuring IBM z/OS
This section discusses the parameters and procedures required to
define a Xerox FreeFlow Print Server IPDS printer to your System
z series
host.
This section is applicable to both JES2 and JES3 environments.
Differences between the two are indicated in notes; otherwise,
they are collectively referenced to as “JES”.
TCP/IP Configuration Overview - z/OS
Configuring the Xerox FreeFlow Print Server IPDS printer with
TCP/IP on the z/OS system involves setting up 4 components:
1. IPS Manager System Configuration Menu (Refer to
NOTE: The printer IP Address is specified during the initial
software load. Set the TCP/IP port number in the IPS Manager
System Configuration dialog.
