4.23 Fader and Event Start/Stop
You can control the CD-302’s decks individually by
using fader start and event start through the appropri-
ate jacks

on the rear panel of the main unit.
Fader start can be used to stop and start the units.
Event start can be used to start the units only.
The TRS (tip-ring-sleeve) jacks should be wired as
shown below:
The fader switch should be wired to the tip and
sleeve of the TRS plug.
The event trigger switch should be wired to the ring
and sleeve of the TRS plug.
An event trigger should pull down to ground from
+5 V for 50 ms or more.
4.24 Factory Preset
To restore all settings to their factory defaults (as
described in the table in 1.7, “Preset functions”):
1 Press the PRESET key.
2 Select 23 f/PRE ( F_PRE ) using the dial or
numeric keys.
3 Press the ENTER key.
4 The display shows -SuRE- .
5 Press the ENTER key to restore all settings to
their default values.
