Tools and Equipment
For the safety of you and other people in the working environment, it is strongly 
recommended to use electrostatic discharge (ESD) equipment. The proper use of this 
equipment will ensure successful repair work and reduce the costs for fixing damaged 
components. The equipment and tools required for disassembling and reassembling are: 
 One 2 mm Phillips screwdriver 
 One 4 mm flat-blade screwdriver 
 Tweezers (for pulling out screws) 
 ESD mats (for the floor and work desks) 
 An ESD wrist strap or heel grounder 
 Anti-static carpets or flooring 
 Air ionizers (for highly electrostatic sensitive areas) 
 A plastic card (in credit card size) 
Screw Tightening Torque
To fasten screws, follow the torque values listed below. Overtightening can damage 
components and screws. Undertightening can loosen the fastening or make screws come off, 
which may result in short circuits or other damage.
